Aston Martin Cambridge supports the RAF Benevolent Fund with limited edition V12 Vantage S

Celebrating one of the most iconic designs in British engineering history and marking the 80th anniversary of the Supermarine Spitfire's first flight, Aston Martin Cambridge has commissioned a limited edition collection of eight V12 Vantage S Spitfire 80 models.

In addition, Aston Martin Cambridge will make a donation for every car sold to the RAF's leading welfare charity, the RAF Benevolent Fund.

The vehicles will feature a number of design elements in honour of the Spitfire’s heritage. This includes tailpipe finishers with rainbow 'bloom' effect to match the Spitfire exhaust stack and an aluminium rear cabin finisher that matches the Spitfire strut brace. The car has been created in a special, Duxford Green colour, with the trademark Spitfire yellow pinstripe on the side strakes and deck lid.

Buyers of the V12 Vantage S 'Spitfire 80' will experience a special handover day in the Airspace Hanger at IWM Duxford, the home of the first Spitfire squadrons, Nos. 19 and 66, in 1938.

Mike Neville, Director of Fundraising at the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund, said: "We are so grateful to Aston Martin Cambridge for their generous donation from the sale of each of these incredible cars. Their support helps us continue in our mission of repaying 'the debt we owe' to those who served to secure our skies and those who continue to serve today."
